College Success for Single Mothers is a three-year project (2020-2022) led by NCTN, in partnership with PERG Learning and Achieving the Dream with funding from ECMC Foundation. The goal of the project was to increase colleges’ capacity to collect data to identify parenting students, with particular attention to single mothers students, and use that data to address their needs through the implementation of targeted action plans.

The following eight colleges participated in College Success for Single Mothers:
- Broward College, Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Columbus State Community College, Columbus, OH
- Delaware County Community College, Media, PA
- Frederick Community College, Frederick, MD
- Kingsborough Community College, Brooklyn, NY
- Lee College, Baytown, TX
- Western Technical College, La Crosse, WI
- University of Hawai’i, Windward Community College, Kaneohe, HI
Each college convened a cross-functional task force of decision makers, practitioners, and stakeholders to identify the needs of single mothers and all parenting students on campus and develop and implement data-informed action plans to address their needs and improve their experiences and outcomes.
